Andrew was born in the state of Iowa. He now lives in the Pacific Northwest with his wife who is also a writer and novelist. He goes by the pen names Edgar Allan Pole, Fanny Merkin, Emperor Franzen, and Evil Wylie. He enjoys writing in the genres of humor, horror, science fiction, horror, romance, and literary non-fiction. He is also the owner of the greeting card company, Order of Saint Nick and he also does artistic design for book covers.
